CertainTeed Lite Finishing Compound is a ready-mixed joint compound specially formulated for the second and third coats over wallboard joints, corner trims, and fastener heads. It provides easy workability, an exceptionally smooth finish, and is very easy to sand. Lite Finishing should not be used for embedding tape or as the first coat over drywall trims. It can also be used for hand texturing work. In addition to its superior performance, Lite Finishing is also GREENGUARD Gold certified for low VOC emissions.
